Word for Day 13: Money

Word Theme: Irony

I do not know whether money can buy happiness. However, I am sure that money can buy better misery.

My subconscious mind always dismissed quotes by a model, topper and an affluent person who said that looks, marks and money does not matter respectively. I thought it was convinient of them to gloss over the value of something that they are blessed to have unlike many others. I thought their quotes and personal insights screamed irony.

This debate is never-ending and exhaustive. I know money isn’t everything and it shouldn’t be everything. Money is something that has zero value by itself. It is simply a mode of transcation that helps us drive to a destination that we truly value.
