Is ignorance really bliss?

We often discard the reality and choose to live in a bubble. We prefer a pleasant and comforting lie over a bitter and unpleasant truth.

I recently watched a video by Coach Matthew Hussey. I summarised one of my favourite part below:

We hear the things we want to hear. We tend to draw dots between insignificant and uncorrelated moments creating so called “signs”, just because it makes us feel better or it gives us that last ray of hope. P.S do watch his videos!

We rely on little and insignificant evidence to elevate and justify our bias. This is a futile attempt we resort to at times of doubt or in any vague situation.
